Beaver Craft LS5P1 Wood Carving Strop SK1 for Spoon, Kuksa, and Bowl Carving Tools

This multi-functional strop for sharpening spoon knives aims to keep your blades at peak performance. The versatile professional hook knife sharpening and honing system features a double-sided strop divided into two parts - a leather strop for polishing and a replaceable sandpaper strop for light sharpening.

Like a razor strop, this strop for sharpening hook knives is used to put a very fine edge on your curved blade. The leather side, used for polishing, works in conjunction with the included BeaverCraft green-gray polishing compound to remove hardened steels and achieve the sharpest edge possible. The rough leather surface is designed to hold the polishing compound when rubbing the bar onto the strop's surface.

While the polishing compounds may come in different colors, this feature does not affect their sharpening, honing, and polishing properties. Two sheets of spare sandpaper are also included for the light sharpening side of the strop.

Manufactured in the beautiful country of Ukraine, located in Eastern Europe, the SK1 spoon carving knife was one of their first models.
