Can I use the LS5P1 Leather Strop for straight blades? While the LS5P1 is designed for hook knives and gouges, it may not be efficient for straight blades due to its specialized curvature. For knives and straight-blade tools, we recommend the LS6P1 Strop model, which is better suited for those purposes.

How do I use this strop effectively? Use the sandpaper side for sharpening and the leather side with the provided compound for honing and polishing. The strop's design accommodates both outer and inner bevel sharpening, ensuring the maintenance of a sharp edge on your tools.

How many times can I use the compound? The polishing compound included with the LS5P1 can be used multiple times, depending on how often you use it and how much you apply. Generally, it's used for multiple stropping sessions before reapplication.
