We are a small, family-owned business located in the NE USA, committed to manufacturing the best choice for Basswood Carving Blocks. A few years ago, we grew frustrated with the lack of available genuine American basswood, so we sought out and sourced suppliers in the north central USA, and now we are offering these premium blocks to all.
Our wood is sourced only from northern Wisconsin, as this region has always been the choice for discerning carvers due to the cold winters slowing tree growth, which produces the tight, consistent, and straight grain that carvers love.
